Dr. Lianne Philhower is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Certified Mental Wellness Coach. She has been practicing psychology for over 15 years and emphasizes a mindful approach to therapy. Dr. Philhower practices Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Acceptance Based Therapy, EMDR, Ecotherapy, Financial Therapy and is a certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist. 

Dr. Philhower believes psychotherapy is a shared process that requires thoughtful dialogue and trust.  She believes the best person to determine whether therapy is working is you. Successful therapy creates healthy lifestyle changes and fosters physical, emotional, cognitive, relational, spiritual, and financial well-being. She will take the time to understand your experience and practice accordingly. By creating a safe and genuine relationship, focused goals and strategies are developed that support growth, healing, and inner peace.

Dr. Angeline Dickson

Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Dickson is Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She has been working in the mental health field for over 10 years. She believes that healing and awareness are fostered through providing a supportive, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment. She uses a positive, strength-based approach to therapy and believes that therapy can help you reach your personal goals.

She has experience with a wide range of issues including; depression, anxiety, substance abuse, mood disorders, peer and relationship issues and crisis intervention.

Dr. Fern Davis

Dr. Fern Davis is a clinical psychologist that has been working in the mental health field for over 8 years. Her practice is guided by her core values of human connection, nature, and being present in the here and now. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process of self-discovery. Dr. Davis strives to create a therapeutic environment that is warm and open so one can safely share experiences, connect to one’s inner wisdom, and work towards improving the quality of life.

Dr. Davis has assisted a wide range of people, presenting with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, grief, self-worth, and relationship problems. She respects diverse people and believes in the innate ability to move towards greater self-awareness and well-being. Dr. Davis works to help empower people in their lives, find clarity, and build internal resources. Life can be difficult at times, but we do not have to navigate this journey alone. Wherever you are on your journey, Dr. Davis will meet you there.

Dr. Chris Enomoto

Dr. Chris Enomoto recognizes the courage it takes to explore new ways to live a more fulfilling and joy-filled life. He provides a respectful, compassionate, and safe space to take the steps you want towards change. Having lived in Japan, India and in different states across the US, Dr. Enomoto is culturally aware and sensitive to diverse perspectives. He has training in Client-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Energy Medicine, Biofeedback, and Neurofeedback. He incorporates the latest technology to facilitate positive and lasting change.

Dr. Enomoto has helped many individuals move from symptoms of depression and anxiety to a life of meaning and purpose. He has worked with others to improve their relationships and careers. As a life-long learner, he continues to immerse himself in the field of integrative medicine to further develop his Neuro-Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual orientation towards health and wellbeing.

Dr. Enomoto is currently seeing patients in-person.


Dr. Kristi K. Tanaka

Licensed clinical social worker

Dr. Kristi Tanaka earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the Hawai’i School of Professional Psychology Program at Argosy University, Hawai’i. She earned her Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from the University of Hawai’i in 2001.  In addition, she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and a Board-Certified Diplomate (BCD) with the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work.  

Kristi’s strong background and experience provides her with competencies for working with adults, adolescents, children, and families with complex lives.  She works well with individuals who have dual-diagnoses, experience substance abuse issues, are severely and persistently mentally ill, and those who struggle with trauma. In addition, Kristi has worked well with at-risk-youth and the zero to three population.  


Angela Johnson

Licensed mental health counselor

Angela Johnson is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 2008 with a master’s in clinical psychology and has been working as a helping professional for over 14 years. She is passionate about supporting others to explore their inner self in a safe and caring environment. Angela believes that true change comes from within, and effective therapy will help others identify and reach their goals. Therapy with her is a collaborative experience where you will feel valued and encouraged. She uses a variety of approaches during therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Strength-based Therapy.  

Angela has worked with a wide range of children, adolescents, and adults. She is experienced with individual therapy as well as helping others navigate substance abuse issues, severe mental health, domestic violence, and crisis situations. She is currently seeing clients via telehealth from her confidential office in Kailua- Kona, Hawaii. Angela has seen the transformative nature of therapy and is grateful to be a part of your inner journey toward self-awareness and wellbeing


Dr. Adrienne Kadooka

Dr. Adrienne Kadooka is a Certified Mental Wellness Coach and Licensed Mental Health Counselor, specializing in executive functions, mental fitness, and relationships. Counseling/Therapy will focus on diagnosis, symptoms, and treatment, which can be covered by insurance. Coaching will focus on development, which is not covered by insurance; as such, diagnosis/treatment will not become a part of your medical record.

Dr. Kadooka uses a strength-based approach to support and promote adaptive self-regulation, self-awareness, flexible responding, and goal-directed behavior. This approach is intended to address issues related to executive functioning (such as ADHD-related symptoms), anxiety/stress management, time management and productivity, work-life balance, life transitions, parent support, self-discovery, and managing conflict. This process can be engaged in individually or with significant other(s), such as in partnerships, familial relationships, or coworkers/work groups.

In the context of relationship coaching, there is an emphasis on improving each member’s understanding of their relationship needs and concerns; developing the ability and skills to respond to each other in ways that create safety and encourage bonding; and creating shared goals to join together as a team in disrupting cycles of conflict.

Glenn is a Master Instructor with 101Financial and a Certified Mental Wellness Coach. He is currently on the Instructor Advisory Board and has mentored many financial students and instructors located across the United States including: Hawaii, California, Nevada, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Florida. Glenn provides financial analysis, education, and skill-building to empower others toward financial stability and peace of mind.

Glenn also has experience working in the areas of: Public Safety, Health and Fitness, and the Foster Care System. He has helped motivate hundreds of people in living a healthier and more balanced life. He frequently travels for educational trainings and believes that learning is a life-long process.

PMIH is also a learning and training institution for practicing clinicians. Therapy services provided by predoctoral students are offered at a low cost. All of our students have been trained at the Hawaii School of Professional Psychology that is accredited by the American Psychological Association. Students are supervised by licensed psychologists who provide on-site consultation and direct training.
